The Beaufort County Genealogical Society was organized  in 1985 by a group of people interested in preserving and sharing family histories.  This society also foster interest in genealogical, biographical, historical research. The Society meets the first Tuesday night of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Brown Library - North Carolina History Room at 122 Van Norden Street, Washington, NC.  Guests are always welcome! Individual membership fee is $15.00 annually and Family (2 members at one address) membership fee is $20.00 annually. Membership is on a calendar year, from January 1 to December 31. Membership includes two issues of Pamteco Tracings and two free queries per year.
